Women's Ministry

Women's Ministry exists to nurture, teach and support women so that they will radiate the light of Christ. Women's ministry has many opportunities to help you get connected with other women, grow in your walk with the Lord, and discover who you are in Christ. We have ministries occurring throughout the week designed to fit a variety of needs for women.

Women's Ministry Events:

Periodic large group events to get ladies together to encourage each other, enjoy life together, and grow personally and spiritually with others. After large group events, participants will be encouraged to continue to grow through consistent interaction with other ladies through small groups.

Upcoming Events:

  • Every 2nd Friday night of the month is Girl's night in. Watch your bulleting for monthly details.
  • September 27-29, 2013: Women's Retreat, Christ Haven, Florrisant, CO. A great time was had at the 2012 retreat. Make plans to join us for the 2013 Retreat.

    • Women's Small Groups:

    Ladies need the opportunity to be encouraged to do life together with others, motivated to grow closer to God, and inspired to reach out to their city with Jesus' love. SUMMER groups are forming for both mornings and evenings. You can join these groups at any time.

    MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers):

    MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom of a child from conception through kindergarten. Being moms is what brings us together and allows us to build a community. The early years of being a mom are just as foundational to you as they are to your baby, and those years are filled with unique needs that other moms instinctively understand.     Mentoring:

    Coming alongside women to help them in their Christian journey. Contact Sherri Moore at watercolorartist@msn.com.

    Meals Ministry:

    Providing meals for families who are unable to provide for themselves due to illness, or new baby. Contact Kassie Hamilton at proudmpwife06@yahoo.com.

    Creative Arts:

    Putting together items for special events like our yearly Mother’s Day tea, fall Women’s retreat and other projects. Contact Michelle Silveous at meich8169@yahoo.com.

    Hospitality:

    Greeting and welcoming women during church service. Contact Becky Wade at 719.258.8779.

    Girls Night In

    On the 2nd Friday of most months, we gather together at the church for an evening of fun and fellowship. Each month is something different (Bunco, movies, crafts, etc.). Keep an eye out for information on this fun event. Contact Tiffany Stockton at tiff@amberstockton.com.
