This Fall marks the third season of implementing the vision God put on the hearts of the Elders three years ago. At that time, we were in prayer, seeking God's direction on how our church could be a key part of His Kingdom work in the Fountain Valley. During a weekend retreat, He made it very clear to us that we had to succeed in three critical areas: To connect seekers to Christ and His Church, to grow believers in their knowledge of and obedience to God's Word, and to strengthen families so the legacy of faith would be securely passed on to the next generation. As we enter this new season of ministry, we want to step back and take another look at where God is leading us and how we can be both participants as well as leaders in helping us to accomplish these three priorities. During this time, we will engage as a congregation in 30 Days of Prayer. We are asking everyone to spend time daily in prayer and to commit a day this month to walk the church property and spend time at each of the Prayer Gates.
