VOLUNTEER SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Would you like to be a part of this exciting Ministry? There are tons of opportunities in every area, even if you don’t have any financial experience. The following is a list of roles we are seeking to fill for our “Unstoppable” movement.

DESIRED TEAM POSITIONS:

Promotion Team Members

Communicating to the church and community about our journey is the key to our success!  We want everyone to know that God wants to do something big in their lives, which has the potential to expand God’s work. We need people willing to design and hand out flyers, work at information tables, video tape testimonies, edit videos, and make announcements to the church and to the community.  We need people of all ages from 14 to 99 years old! If you like to talk or are gifted in visual arts, this is the team for you!

Prayer Team Members

Is prayer your gift? We are looking for people to join this team and pray for this journey, the leaders, the volunteers, and the people being served in this ministry.  There is power in prayer! This journey will only be successful if God is leading.  We need people that will ask God to help us serve the people in our church and community.

Education Team Members

Life change starts with biblical teaching. This team will facilitate FPU classes, adult bible studies, student bible studies (Jr. and Sr. High), and children’s bible studies.  This group will need people willing to facilitate the FPU courses either at the church building or in their homes in small groups.  If you have a gift for teaching and are passionate about educating people, this is the team for you! We need a minimum of 30 individuals or couples for this group.

Special Opps Team Members

This team endeavors to help the church family notice the needs of all the people around them. After the need is noticed, this team will work on creative ways to encourage meeting those needs individually and as a church family.  Do you have a gift of listening to others’ stories? This team will be the eyes and ears of this journey, always listening and looking for ways to better serve the needs of our church and community.

Celebration Team Members

Celebrating success is an integral part of repeating the behavior! This team is working on a church-wide event to celebrate a wave of life change that is about to begin.  This team is also always on the lookout for individual stories of life change that can be shared with the church family.  This team will work closely with the Promotion Team to ensure everyone’s successes are acknowledged and celebrated.  There will be two major events that this team will prepare for: an FPU Alumni Picnic in June and a Celebration Sunday in November.  If you love to plan parties, this is the team for you!

Strategic Tracking Team Members

Numbers are an indication that God is at work.  Keeping track of data related to our journey will help us celebrate what God has done.  This team of detail-oriented people will help keep everything organized and running smoothly.  If you like letting numbers do the talking, this is the team for you!
