Job Title: Facilities Technician                                      Wage/Hour Status: Hourly, PT, 20-30  
                                                                                                                    hours per week

Reports to: Assoc. Dir. Of Facilities                              Salary Range: $9:50-10:50 per hour

General Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Assoc. Dir. Of Facilities in creating, promoting, and maintaining the facilities and grounds as well as assisting in the ministry environments of Pikes Peak Christian Church and helping to create and sustain ministries that help members find a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their personal walk with Christ.

A  Able to perform general custodial duties to include:

     Sweeping,

     Mopping,

     Vacuuming and

     General cleaning duties.

B  Must have a general working knowledge of building repairs to include:

     Minor plumbing and

     Minor electrical.

C  Must be able to perform outside maintenance to include:

     Mowing

     General landscaping

     Trimming

     Maintaining flower beds

     Using lawn equipment

     ■      Lawn Mower

     ■      Rotor tiller

     ■      Weed eater

   Must be able to show initiative

   Must have a teachable spirit/attitude.

   Conduct oneself in a grace saturated, professional, high integrity, and ethical manner that is above approach and at peace with all men/women as defined in Romans 12.

   Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  Must possess oral and written communication, time management,  and organizational skills

  Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, integrity, and absolute security.

  A teachable, cheerful, servant oriented, and grace filled attitude

  Must have general computer skills for e-mail and entering hours into payroll

Physical & Mental Demands:

   Proven ability to operate lawn care, snow removal, lifting or extension machinery, or other labor intensive equipment used to maintain the grounds or building of a modern campus

   Ability to work under high pressure and time sensitive situations with grace, compassion, and integrity

   Ability to occasionally work weekends, holidays, and outside of “normal” business hours
