Job Opportunities

We believe that serving others is a vital part of spiritual growth. We have opportunities for anyone to use their gifts, talents, passions, abilities, personality, and experience to serve others to make an impact in our city. When God uses us to make a significant impact in the life of another person, it is one of the greatest adrenaline rushes we experience on Planet Earth. We know that it is our volunteers that makes ministry happen in our church. God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things! We want to walk with you to help you discover your God-given makeup, understand opportunities to use what you have to help others, and launch you into service for the betterment of others in our city and beyond.

Primary Ministry:

Ministry is so natural and fulfilling when we find that sweet spot where we serve in an opportunity that is a perfect match with our God-given wiring. We want to help you find that sweet spot! We will help you discover your SHAPE (spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experience) and match it with the opportunity tha is a good fit for you.

Secondary Ministry:

There are plenty of times where other people need your help even when the opportunity is not a perfect match with your God-given makeup. We need your help in several areas of ministry to best reach out to our city with Jesus' love.

Volunteer Positions:

Children's Ministry- There are many ways you can serve in Children's Ministry. Needed are Greeters, Check-in Hosts, Classroom Helpers & Teachers for all ages from Nursery through 5th Grade, Substitute and Special Needs. If you would like to volunteer in any capacity in Childrens Ministry, please contact Corey Briix @ (719) 392-9061, ext. 125 or email @ cbriix@yes2God.org.

Front Office- in need of individuals that love interacting with people and are gifted administratively. If you are willing to give of your time and talents a few hours a week, we would love to have you serve with our team! Contact Brittany at 392-9061 or bfranklin@yes2God.org for more information.

Medical Ministry- Hoping we're never needed but ready when we are! You must be CPR and First Aid Certified. Contact Derek at 392-5939 if this ministry fits your gifts.

Guardian Ministry- They are the "watch dogs" of the congregation. This is the 1st response team to all safety concerns at the church. To serve you must have the heart of a sheep dog, to serve and protect. Must have high character and high moral standards. It is preferred that you have your CCW permit and must be able to pass a background check. Contact Geryl at GDuncan@yes2God.org if you are interested and to see if you can qualify.
