Who we are is largely determined by the tribes that we let speak into our lives. That old saying That “Birds of a feather flock together” is true, but you can pick the flock or “Tribe” that you become a part of. You can provide the tribe that is the biggest influence on your children’s lives. The tribe of your family, the tribe of your church family can be the greater influences than the tribe of the world.

Everyone loves a good story. Reading or telling a story to your children is one of the joys of parenting. While you are taking advantage of that joy, remember to share the truths of the Bible through it’s stories. The many parables that Jesus told gave us beautiful insight to the kingdom of God. Share your personal story of God presents in your life as an example to you kids of God’s faithfulness.
